West Bengal Centralised Admission Portal is an initiative of the West Bengal State Council of Higher Education. The main motive for launching the WBCAP portal is to apply for admission online and check their UG course updates easily through this portal. Under the Wbcap website, there are 16 universities, 461 Colleges / Higher Education Institutes, and 7230 Courses / Programmes offered.

West Bengal Centralised Admission Portal is a government website initiated under the visionary leadership of Mamata Banerjee, Hon’ble Chief Minister, West Bengal, the Department of Higher Education, through the West Bengal State Council of Higher Education. On the Wbcap portal students who have qualified for their 12th board examination can apply for the university of their own choice.
